     Hello, and welcome to Hornet's Nest Racing. Your best way to go ski racing here in the Carolinas. Hornet's Nest Racing is a small, dedicated club devoted to snow ski racing.

COMPETITION
     Hornet's Nest competes mainly in a club racing sanction sponsored by an organization called the Crescent Ski Council. Crescent's format for club racing involves two basic levels of ability: Division II(Beginner ) and Division I(Advanced). Division II racers compete in 10 ability categories on easy, NASTAR style courses set with completion and confidence building in mind. Division I racers compete in 10 ability categories on FIS style courses set to challenge abilities and courage. Both divisions compete in both slalom and giant slalom disciplines. Prizes are awarded to the top three in each of the 20 ability categories.
