Review the CSC Racing Rulebook. You are responsible for knowing the Racing Rules. Pay special attention to the gate keeping rules in Section 16.0.
Club membership dues and racer dues need to be paid to your race director prior to your first race.
Waiver forms to your race director no later than one week prior to a scheduled race. Waivers altered in any way will not be accepted.
Racing dues are $25 per racer. Those trying to qualify do not pay the fee until they have qualified and are racing on a team.
Handicap needed to qualify/race is a Crescent handicap of 75 and a NASTAR handicap is 60. Children 12 and under must have a handicap of 135 or less. Snowboarders will need a handicap of 80. On race day if you are trying to qualify in Flight 21 or 22, your handicap will be determined by taking the average of the top 3 racers (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) in the last flight and averaging them together to obtain the qualifying handicap for that given race day.
No registration is allowed on race day except Flight 21 and 22.
Bibs are for both days of racing. If a racer loses his bib, the cost to replace it will be $5.
Bibs must be worn on the chest where they can be seen at all times during the race.
Goggles must be worn in order to race.
Sideslipping of the course is only allowed when told to do so by a Crescent official. Actual running or shadowing of the racecourse will result in disqualification.
Racers must race within their flight with the exception of Rule 8.0 #12.
